Field
Limit: 300 total of all categories.
Race
Description and Route: The race is an individual time trial. The course is an out
and back with a gradual turn around. The route begins at the junction of Route
175 and Route 49 in Campton, NH. The course goes NE on Route 49 to Waterville
Valley. In Waterville, the course will take a sweeping left turn onto Village
Road to Tecumseh Road followed by two right turns that will return the course
to Route 49 west to the finish. The finish is 200m East of the start. The
finish is approximate 600 meters further down Route 49 than the 2008 course. The
course has wide shoulders and good pavement. The elevation gain is approx. 880
feet over the first 9 miles, with 2 short rolling hills at mile 8-9. The
course will be open to traffic. Riding on the course after 9:00 a.m. is
prohibited.
Directions:
From
the South, take 1-93N to exit 28. At the end of the off ramp, take a Right
turn onto Route 49. Follow Route 49 approx. 1.6 miles east to the stop light
in Campton. Turn Right at the stop light onto Route 175. Follow Route 175
South 0.8 miles to Campton Elementary School on the Left side of the road.
From
the North take I-93 South to exit 28. Take a Left turn off the exit ramp onto
Route 49. Follow Route 49 approx. 1.6 miles east to the stop light in Campton.
Turn Right at the stop light onto Route 175. Follow Route 175 South 0.8 miles
to Campton Elementary School on the Left side of the road.
Registration:
Parking
and Registration is located at Campton Elementary School. Registraion opens at
7:30 a.m. Racers must register by 9:00 a.m. Pre-Registration ONLY for all
categories except Juniors and Citizens. $5 fee will be charged for day of event
registration.
Pre-registration
on-line at BikeReg.com (Online
service fee applied based on Bikereg.com standard service fee rates) or by sending a signed
2010 USA Cycling competitive event release form and a check for the event fee

Race
numbers and start times will be assigned at registration. The above listed
times are approximate. Start times will be assigned by categories in the order
as listed.
Racers
are required to attend a pre-race meeting at 9:00 a.m. for course instruction.
USA
Cycling license and waiver is required for all participants. Day licenses for
$10 are available for citizens and juniors.
Rules: No drafting allowed.
CPSC standard bicycle helmets are required. No sleeveless
jerseys. Junior gear restrictions and roll out will be required per USA
Cycling rules. Racers will start at 30 second intervals from a standing start.
Results
and Prizes:
Results and prizes will be awarded at Campton Elementary School. The top 10
men’s and top 5 women’s finishers across all categories will be awarded the
cash prizes. Merchandise and medals will be awared to the top 3 finishers in
each category other than cash prizes shown above.
**Cycling Made Real New England Women's Category 3/4 Race
Series. Racers taking part in the series should register in the Open
Women's field, Cat 3&4 results will be broken out for the series points
